A potluck, and camp fire, on Saturday. The 200 gallon recirculating sluice will be up and running. bring your buckets of classified samples back to the camp ground. Limit your samples to 10 gallons or less. If you are on the gold you can do more dirt. Metal detecting is a go, but maybe to wet for drywashing.

If this notice is too cryptic or you get lost, call me. 714-529-5831

For the new members and guest call me. This way I can personalize the answer to your question. Bring buckets, a shovel, gloves, of course water. Dress in layers and bring a folding chair !!!!!  I am here to help educate and act as a tour guide. Learn your detector, or any other prospecting questions, one of us will help.

From Johannesburg on the 395, continue north about 2 miles down into the valley. Cross the rail road tracks. Find the dirt Road to the east. It will be maker with a sign for the LDMA property. Our camp ground is one half mile east of the highway. From Highway 14, take Ransburg Garlock Road to the 395. Turn right and find the dirt road north of the tracks to the east. This road is easy access for passenger cars.  There will be a blind setup with a port o potty. If that is too primative you may use the bath room in my trailer. Due to the unpredictable wind, tent camp can be problematic. Ridgecrest has a Motel 6, about 20 miles away.
